Introduction

The mission of the Department of Applied Psychology is to provide students the opportunity to develop a range of skills to enhance the understanding of human behavior and psychological processes; while remain guided towards student growth and development, with regard to both personal characteristics and professional competencies. The Department integrates teaching, research, applied training, and service activities to further the overall mission of the university.

Vision Statement

Department of Applied Psychology seeks to advance the science and practice of psychology through excellence in research especially in culturally vital and internationally significant areas. It inspires and empowers, students, faculty & staff for lifelong intellectual development and learning in a vibrant and inclusive environment through conducive and student centered teaching to develop them to a level where they can effectively serve society.
