The mission of the Department of Applied Psychology is to provide students the opportunity to develop a range of skills to enhance the understanding of human behavior and psychological processes; while remain guided towards student growth and development, with regard to both personal characteristics and professional competencies. The Department integrates teaching, research, applied training, and service activities to further the overall mission of the university.

Mission Statement

The Department of Applied Psychology at National University of Modern Languages, Rawalpindi is dedicated to the discovery of knowledge about human behaviors and mental processes. The department works both in the classrooms and community settings for the application of psychological knowledge to important real world issues. The department is engaged in high level teaching, training and research. It prepares the students to serve in a variety of fields such as education, hospitals, research, armed forces, special services and NGOs.

Clinical Placement

Students of ADCP are placed at various practical settings i.e. Rehabilitation Centers, Hospitals and Special Education Schools.

Testing Facility

Department provides various psychological assessment tools to students for administering under supervision.

Well Being Centre

The department has established a well-being centre to help students improve their learning and concentration. The centre aims to help university students dealing with their emotional problems through proper guidance and counseling.
