I am delighted to welcome you to the Department of Languages & Functional Courses at the National University of Modern Languages (Rawalpindi Campus), the no. 1 ranked languages university in Pakistan. Our students are our top priority, and our qualified and dedicated faculty members are committed to providing high-quality, engaging, and effective learning experiences. Our goal is to excel in foreign language teaching and learning by applying modern, innovative, and research-based methods. The department offers language courses aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), including levels A1 to C1. In addition, we offer a range of 8-week short courses such as IELTS, English Speaking Proficiency Course (ESPC), Occupational English Test (OET), English for Academic Writing (EAW), English for Business Communication (EBC), English Language Course (ELC), and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) preparation.
These programs are designed to strengthen students’ English language skills and enhance their professional communication abilities. Students from diverse regions improve their proficiency through active interaction with peers and instructors in an English-speaking environment. We take pride in our students’ achievements and support them in reaching their academic and professional goals.
