The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to thrive in today's rapidly evolving digital world. This program emphasizes the practical application of technology to solve real-world problems, preparing graduates for diverse careers in areas such as network administration, database management, cybersecurity, web development, and IT project management. Students will develop a strong foundation in IT principles and gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies, enabling them to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the IT industry.

Eligibility & Criteria


Eligibilty

  • Intermediate (F. Sc/ICS) with 50% Marks examinations with 60% marks.
  • DAE in the relevant discipline with 60% Marks
  • Students with F. Sc (Pre-Medical) must pass 6 credit hours Math (deficiency courses) in the first year of BS Program.

1. Academic Education To prepare graduates as computing professionals

Knowledge for Solving Computing Problems Apply knowledge of computing fundamentals, knowledge of a computing specialization, and mathematics, science, and domain knowledge appropriate for the computing specialization to the abstraction and conceptualization of computing models from defined problems and requirements
3. Problem Analysis Identify, formulate, research literature, and solve complex computing problems reaching substantiated conclusions using fundamental principles of mathematics, computing sciences, and relevant domain disciplines
4. Design/Development of Solutions Design and evaluate solutions for complex computing problems, and design and evaluate systems, components, or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations
